De Soto Estates is off Philippe Parkway near Philippe Park, with homes along Madrid, Navarez and Rajel avenues. The original late-1950s and 1960s houses are often two or three bedrooms and roughly 900 to 1,900 square feet. Newer construction and rebuilds are mixed in, including four- and five-bedroom homes built in the 2000s and as recently as 2026.
Rajel Avenue has some of the larger recent builds, while other streets retain smaller midcentury houses and mature lots. Private pools appear in some homes, and lot sizes vary enough that a particular property’s outdoor space is worth a close look.
